About Russell\'s
Owners Robert Bryson and Glen Russell have wasted very little time in establishing a reputation for excellent food and service in the restaurant, aptly named after Glen.
From 2006 onwards the restaurant has been awarded 2 AA rosettes, confirming the high standards of food served.
With his extensive catering experience he has brought with him, culinary flair for recipes using the very best of local produce offered in varying and tempting menus.
Menu
The menu changes regularly and offers freshly prepared cuisine using the finest of Scottish produce. Dishes include Highland lamb and venison, Prime Aberdeen Angus beef and seafish from our local supplier in Mallaig. Vegetarain options are always available.
Surroundings
Russell\'s extends over both sides of the ground floor of Smiddy House. Guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and coffee in the garden room whilst dining in a warm cosy atmosphere created by candlelight and coal effect open fires.
Reservations
As Glen\'s reputation spreads further a field, it is wise to reserve a table in advance, especially during the summer months. For large parties a deposit will be required with confirmed numbers being charged.
