Glencoe Village, Fort William & Lochaber
A very warm welcome awaits you in Callart View - our Glencoe home in the beautiful highlands of Scotland. A happy and fulfilling stay is our contribution towards your holiday. Our home offers unparalleled views across Loch Leven.
Callart View and its counterpart semi were originally built in 1926 in the shadow of Lord Strathcona's magnificent manor house. The cottage was originally occupied by the manor's gardener.
As Callart View is situated about half a mile from the A82, we do not hear the constant noise of main road traffic. We are open all year round. Callart View is situated right on the edge of the great Glencoe forest with a shingle beach right across the road - great for children to explore! You can walk out of the back gate straight on to a number of beautiful walks meandering through age-old pines and conifers. Walkers, climbers and skiers are welcome (evening meals, packed lunches, drying facilities and camp beds available).
We have one double room and one family room with most magnificent views to the west overlooking Loch Leven and the 1024 meter peaks of Beinn a'Bheithir. We also have a twin room with views towards the forest. Our comfortable rooms are all en-suite and complimented with hospitality trays and colour televisions. There is ample parking at the rear of the house. Please note that we do not permit smoking anywhere in the house.
