This was “Nether Lochaber Store”, the village shop for North Ballachulish and Onich, Lochaber, Highlands of Scotland, until 1998 when it was closed.

Now, we have decided to put new life into this building which is full of character and situated on the A82. The careful renovation and conversion of the property has created stylish and comfortable holiday cottage, with everything you will need from your home from home.

The kitchen is fully equipped with washer/dryer, dish washer, microwave and firdge freezer, along with electric hob and oven. The dining section is laid out with a four seater table set.

The lounge area is comfortably arranged with leather sofas, occasional tables, TV with DVD player along with SKYSAT receiver, all placed on a fully laminated floor covering the full area of kitchen/dining and lounge. There is also a CD player provided.

There are the two bedrooms, one a king sized double with pine frame bed and firm mattress, dressing table with vanity mirror and built in wardrobe. The second bedroom is laid out as a twin with two single beds, also pine frames, and firm mattresses. This room also has built-in wardrobe, with a vanity unit and both have views onto the lawn area and field behind, leading on to the hills of the Cuilchenna Crofting Township. Both rooms have bedside cabinets, one for the twin room and two for the double.

Onich is located approx 8 miles south of Fort William, “The Outdoor Capital of the UK” and as such is an ideal base for touring or experiencing the varied outdoor activities this area provides.
