Gradings / Awards

Listings on www.highlandsofscotland.net are created by the individual establishment owners, and the content remains their responsibility. A number of gradings and awards may be shown for each establishment. These awards are given by the relevant bodies and not by www.highlandsofscotland.net. You should refer to each awarding body for details of what is required to acheive each award / grading.

 

Below is a summary of the awards shown:

stars Star awards may be given by VisitScotland the AA or the RAC. These organisations have harmonised their grading schemes, so the award should be equivalent, regardless of which organisation awarded it.
